King County Metro removes buses, suspends routes for 4th day due to steering system issue
King County Metro announced they will be temporarily suspending 12 bus routes Friday.

Metro had proactively removed 126 buses from service out of its 1,500-vehicle fleet. Metro shared they inspected all its buses to ensure all vehicles in service continue to perform safely and within specifications.
Now riders are having to look for alternative rides. Metro said they are continuing to inspect some of those buses, which has led to bus routes being suspended.
Metro suspended route 9, 15, 17, 18, 29, 64, 121, 162, 177, 301, 304 & 330. Metro added the identified problem did not lead to any accidents or injuries.
