Slushy snow with spotty accumulation, especially north of Seattle

The trend of wet slushy snow continues Tuesday, but sun and drier conditions are on the way, though they won’t last long.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon Tuesday for snow showers with accumulations of up to 2 inches in the Western Washington lowlands.

Here’s what to expect.

Pockets of rain and snow and wet snow are moving through Tuesday morning with temps mainly above freezing. We did see some minor and spotty slushy accumulation of around an inch or so north of Seattle, which is where most of the showers are Tuesday morning.
