Please join the 37th LD Democrats for an afternoon of voter registration
at a few locations in the Rainier Valley. They are most interested in
volunteers fluent in languages other than English, but all are welcome.

They will meet this Saturday, tomorrow, at Noon at the Mount Baker Light
Rail Station for coffee, to hear from Seattle City Councilmember Bruce
Harrell and to provide a quick training before they hit the streets.

A big thank you to Seattle City Councilmember Bruce Harrell for sponsoring
this event!

You can RSVP through their Facebook link, but all are welcome:

2. King County Disability Caucus meeting 6/29 in Seattle

Jun 2015

The next meeting of the KCDCC Committee on disAbilities will be at the
same venue as previously, the Couth Buzzard Bookstore, 8310 Greenwood
Ave N. in Seattle, on Monday, June 29th at 7:00PM.

Florence Deleranko from the law firm of Thompson and Howle will be
speaking on the topic of Guardianship Law and Special Needs Trusts and
we will also be discussing our progress on obtaining an accommodation
for the Sheraton Ballroom Victory Party Event.

Please save the date on your calendar.

The venue is free, but relies on our buying snacks and drinks from the
espresso bar in order to stay open late to accommodate us. Please, if
you can, make as generous a purchase as possible while you are at the
meeting. Please, if you can't, do not avoid coming to the meeting
because of it. We hope to see people there!
