U.S. Congress 8th District Republican hopeful Dino Rossi has held 10 money raising events since March 21st, and his fundraisers have begun to draw protesters.
Fuse Washington, the state's largest progressive organization, appeared last Friday outside a Rossi event in Bellevue with onetime Seattle Seahawks receiver (and later Oklahoma congressman) Steve Largent.
Eastside students from March for Our Lives will march on a $500-a-person Rossi fundraiser at Sahalee Country Club on Wednesday afternoon, hoping to speak with the candidate or get him to hold a town hall on guns.
Fingerprints of adult advisers can be found on announcements of the Wednesday protest.
Access to Rossi has been rationed so far in the race to succeed retiring GOP Rep. Dave Reichert: If you want to hear Rossi, pay your way into a fundraiser, or a Republican Lincoln Day dinner, or tune in conservative talk radio.
