Does anyone know what's going on with Public Transit in Milwaukee?

I just got a postcard in the mail from a company called "MV Transportation Inc." billed as "Milwaukee County's administrative choice to manage transit." What's going on? Are they trying to privatize the County Transit System?

After years and years of gutting the funding for public transit, of raising fares, and lowering services, they're able to find the money to hire an outside company to "manage" the county transit system?

The postcards inviting me to visit an open house for MV, but I really don't have a schedule that can easily fit that in. If someone knows what's going on, that would be great.
