Rabid jingoism, out right lies, and junk science climate change denial.
Out of state financed RWNJ propaganda fills the airways.

That one made it seem that Butler as a defense attorney had let a criminal get out of prison and then commit another horrible crime (he lost the appeal and the client stayed in prison until the end of his sentence). In this one Judge Kloppenburg's campaign released a statement setting out the truth:

The advertisement in question refers to a case (14AP1270-CR State of Wisconsin v. Daniel Fierro) in which a defendant pleaded guilty to sexual assault, then appealed his conviction based on his contention he did not understand his plea deal. The Court of Appeals, in a unanimous three judge decision, sent the case back to the circuit court for a hearing on that question. The Circuit Court ruled the State had met its burden to prove Fierro did understand his plea agreement. The advertisement, which presents the Fierro case, puts in bold letters on the screen at its start “Conviction Overturned.” That is absolutely false. Fierro’s conviction was never overturned. He was, has been, and remains in prison. The facts in this case are indisputable. The Court of Appeals followed the law, the lower court followed the law and a man convicted of a crime has never left prison.

The group is Wisconsin Alliance for Reform, of course with ties to the Kochs, and the add buy is for $700,000.

I doubt there will be much in the multi-million dollar pro-Bradley ad campaign about Bradley at all because there's really no record to speak of, other than the very detailed, passionate, and vile hate speech she authored in the past.

Conservative advocacy group Wisconsin Alliance for Reform has spent nearly $1 million to air an advertisement blasting Supreme Court candidate JoAnne Kloppenburg for granting a new hearing for a man who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a child.

The advertisement highlights the case of Daniel Fierro, a 28-year-old registered sex offender with a lengthy criminal record currently serving a sentence in an Oshkosh prison. Fierro filed an appeal in the sexual assault case in 2013, and Kloppenburg was part of a panel of state appeals court judges who granted a new hearing to review evidence in the case.

Wisconsin Alliance for Reform spokesman Chris Martin said the group spent nearly $1 million to air the advertisement on broadcast and cable stations and digitally.

In a statement, Martin said the ad showed a record of “standing with criminals.”

“We expect members of Wisconsin’s highest court to protect children, not provide new hearings to those convicted of victimizing them,” said Martin.
