Kenosha man allegedly stabs stranger in throat after meeting on sidewalk

Two men were walking along a sidewalk on Sheridan Road after leaving a nearby bar early Sunday when a stranger with a guitar case on his back approached them on the sidewalk.

“What are you going to do, shoot me?” the man asked as the two men looked on, confused.

Then, according to a criminal complaint, he pulled out a knife and, holding it between his fingers, punched toward one of the two men, stabbing him twice in the neck, before walking away.

Robert Calk, 49, of Kenosha, was charged Monday with first-degree recklessly endangering safety and aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.
