when he worked for the BIA. I grew up in Rock Springs. These is conservative, and then there is conservative, who are really right wing radicals. Unless it changed since I joined the Air Force, it is conservative in the sense of rural balance of community/self reliance, environmentalist/traditionalist faction of the NRA (JFK's NRA) while honoring its very progressive founding as a shining light in women's rights. That is the true sane conservative.

Then there is today's GOP that are right wing radicals.

Sane conservative is a good term. I left Wyoming 14 years ago, just as a high powered radio station was being set up in Casper with religious programing. I've often wondered what the long term effects would be. Faux news seems to be the only news source in Fremont county.

The radicals in Wyoming seem to share the same "local" religion.

Believe it or not there was a bit of drama. Two ne'er do wells found this group and tried to be disruptive I'm just getting over that and now you've come in here with your reply and stuff.

There is a monastery where only one monk is permitted to speak briefly once a year.

When it was Brother Mark's turn, he said, "My bed is too hard."

Ten years later it was his turn again. He said, "My cell is too cold."

The following year it was Brother Matthew's turn. He looked at Brother Mark and said, "Complain, complain. All you ever do is complain."

I'l check back in in a few months.

I love going back, though only one aunt and a few cousins are left in and around Gillette & Casper.

My Dad was raised at the foot of the Tetons & went to grade school in Kelly. Some of his ashes were taken on horseback up the Gros Ventre & scattered where he spent many years hunting & fishing.
