Press release: Late this morning the body of missing 13-Year-Old Alexander Frye was found on property owned by the Union Pacific Railroad. Alexander was reported missing by his father in the early morning hours of January 1st.

Cheyenne Police as well as numerous volunteers from the community began searching for him shortly thereafter. The volunteer search effort was being coordinated by the Cheyenne Police Department and American Legion Post 6.

Due to the nature of the situation, the Victim Assistance Division of the Cheyenne Police Department will be holding a Critical Incident Debriefing at the American Legion Post #6, 2001 East Lincolnway at 10:00 AM Wednesday January 4th.

I'm sure you've seen the stories in the papers there. The memorial service is today and I've been heartened to see Cheyenne's response to the family. Just hope that school district gets it's act together before this happens to another kid (from what I've read there were others before Alex).
