If BoJo was really taking responsibility he would have resigned
His whole government should resign, if they take responsibility for the death toll they have wrought on this nation.
Over 100,000 deaths, apparently it is still not the time to make international comparisons - because we have the worst death in the world - and it still not the time to ask what went wrong - because they know their overwhelming incompetence lies at the heart of this disaster. Too late Too shit Too horrible And yet even as they say they take full responsibility, in reality they take no responsibility at all.

2. Bojo? Oh, you mean 'Boris The Johnson'.
The UK would have been better off had he never been born, in the same way that the US would have been better off had Trump never been born.

3. "I take responsibility" in this case is just a cheap form of words.
"Poor Boris, there he is on the front page of the Express etc., looking miserable. He's said he accepts responsibility, hasn't he suffered enough, you monsters?!"
I saw no sense of true contrition or that anything much will change given the fact his government is still swithering over countermeasures, and those incredibly crooked, wasteful and non-delivering contracts for PPE and track and trace are still in place. |

4. If we had had deaths at about the average rate of France, Italy, Germany and Spain it'd be 25k fewer
I think an international comparison like that is justified - broadly equivalent countries in size and wealth. So he's responsible for 25,000 deaths. Yes, that ought to be a resigning matter.

5. Apparently, electing an incompetent, idiotic ASSHOLE...
with the help of Russian disinformation is not exclusively an American disaster.
I am truly sorry for the tragedy unfolding in Britain, but we have the same (only much worse) problem here. But we were courageous enough to get rid of the imbecilic, cancerous leech on our society. Can England do the same? One has to wonder, how different things would be if the British people knew of Russia's disinformation Brexit campaign and the Torries involvement in it? Would BoJo be anything more than the Mayor of London right now? One has to wonder.... |

7. Leaving the EU is worse than the President Fart administration
President Fart had the checks and balances of the American constitution to restrain him. Boris Johnson does not.
As bad as President was on trade, he didn't do anything like as much damage as ripping up out trading arrangements with the EU is doing to this country. And then there's the confused response to Coronavirus to contend with. |
