Financial Services Bill to be unveiled by Osborne

The Chancellor George Osborne is to reveal details about the Financial Services Bill that will overhaul regulation of the sector.

The bill will replace the so-called Tripartite structure, introduced by the previous Labour government under Gordon Brown.

The new bill is designed to strengthen the governance of the financial system and stop another crisis.

One major change will see the abolition of the Financial Services Authority.
