When Scott Brown (R-MA) lost re-election in 2012, he moved to NH and ran for the US Senate from NH in 2014 against Jeanne Shaheen-D. Brown-R lost to Shaheen-D by a 3 percent margin.
Doug Jones (D-AL) is likely to win the AL US Senate Special Election less than a month from now. Doug Jones could lose re-election in 2020 against a non controversial Republican challenger. If Doug Jones loses re-election in 2020 and does not get picked to head the DOJ by the 46th POTUS- Which state will Doug Jones run for the US Senate seat from in 2022?
AL-Assuming Shelby-R retires or faces a tough primary challenge by a right wing conservative challenger- ie Lugar-IN 2012. ? or
GA-Assuming Isakson-R retires or faces a tough primary challenge by a right wing conservative challenger? GA is more Democratic friendly than GA.
