Max Myers: Democratic Candidate for PA Governor on Progressive Issues [VIDEO]
This is a video from my new Internet newscast, the only grassroots progressive media show exclusively about Pennsylvania politics, Counterpoint PA.
In this video, I list the positions of Democratic PA gubernatorial candidate Max Myers on key progressive issues in areas including education, ObamaCare in PA, abortion, union rights, fracking, marijuana, and genetically engineered foods. I got to question Max personally and pinned him down on a number of issues not addressed on his official campaign website. I analyze how progressive his positions are as I go along, and also rant a tiny bit about the importance of primary elections. http://www.youtube.com/v/uPEUf39LEBs For transcript and links to the sources used in this story, go to http://counterpointpa.org. Stay in touch on social media on Twitter @CounterpointPA and on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/CounterpointPA. Stay tuned throughout this week for one more PA Headline and of course, Counterpoint PA's homage to Keith Olbermann: the Worst Pennsylvanians of the Week.

1. Thanks for posting this.
You're absolutely right, if only 20% of Pennsylvanians voted in this year’s primary election, our power to change things is stronger in them. I'm forwarding this to a friend in PA. Thanks for posting this.
I like the name Counterpoint too. It would be great if other states had Counterpoint site. Do you know if there's such a thing in the works? Like CounterpointCA? Or CounterpointTX? You're performing a real service here. Thank you. |

2. Thanks very much for the kind words! :)
I really appreciate you spreading the word about the show to your PA friends. Honestly, in my most delusional moments of grandeur I have thought about expanding Counterpoint to other states as you describe, but there is no plan to do so currently.
