Which health scare is very serious? Cancer or Stroke?

The reason why I bring this up is because John Fetterman(PA) suffered a stroke during the 2022 US Senate Election and won by a 5 percent margin against Doctorb Oz. Jamie Raskin has been diagnosed with cancer twice in his life 2010(colon cancer) and 2022(b cell lymphoma). If Raskin runs for the US Senate, he will win by at least a 25 percent margin.
The 2024 MD US Senate Democratic primary race between John Sarbanes and Jamie Raskin is going to be a Tossup. Raskin will run or not run depending on how serious the cancer is.

Depends on recommended treatments. Depends on how well he tolerates those treatments.
Both cancer and stroke hold risks but in the case of Fetterman we saw how well he tolerated his treatments in real time. He showed the world he could follow all recommendations including speech therapy and still physically work.

Some will vilify Raskin no matter what. Others will question if ge can do his job. Yet others will look at him as perseverance personified if he can work and receive treatment. It's all in how he handles it and how great a campaign can spin it.

Therefore, I was under anesthesia for part of the day and kind of out of it on painkillers the rest of the day. Everyone was jealous. I love Jamie Raskin. I want him to triumph politically and physically. One answer I’d give is that it’s better to be from Maryland than Pa in an election.

I'd like to keep Jamie in MD, but don't want to be selfish. (He's my Representative now, but my District may change, I may change where I'm registered.)
