Jamie Raskin(D-MD) is better off remaining in the US House of Representatives as a Top Democrat in

US House Oversight and Accountability or Reform Committee than a freshman US Senator.
The US needs Jamie Raskin in the US House Oversight and Reform Committee to make sure Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar, and Lauren Boebert behave themselves.

In the Senate he's one of just 100 and has the luxury of being up just every six years. Not to mention there are high profile jobs there.

As a member of the US House, He is a member and top Democrat in the House Oversight committee. As a member of the US Senate, what committees will Schumer assign Raskin.
Will it be Judiciary?
If he runs for the US Senate next year assuming it is and open seat, the only Democrat that could make the Democratic nomination for the 2024 MD US Senate Election difficult for Raskin is John Sarbanes.
