Need help finding mobo drivers
i installed a new graphics card the other day, and then suddenly the original ports (vga and dvi) that are part of the mobo stopped working.
the mobo is an MSI785gt-e63
i've been to MSI's site and found the drivers for the vga (which is the one i need the most at the moment) and selected my operating system (which is win7 64bit), but when i download and unzip the choices are for winxp and vista. no 7 let alone 7 64 bit
in the interest of trying for trying's sake, i tried both. both (obviously) provided a message stating that it was incompatible with the current operating system.
does anyone know where i could find the vga/dvi driver for this mobo? because there is no other options on their site:
http://us.msi.com/support/mb/785GTE63.html#down-driver&Win7%2064
3rd option down, system and chipset drivers for ATI system & vga drivers
thanks in advance!

(18,599 posts)Why do you need the MB vga? Multiple monitors? Backup?
BTW, I found this: http://us.msi.com/support/mb/785GTE63.html#down-driver&Win7%2064
Download the System & Chipset Drivers which include the vga.
Also, check the BOIS as ChromeFoundry suggests. My gigabyte MB lets you select on board or card.

ChromeFoundry
(3,270 posts)usually when you have on-board graphics on the motherboard, when you add a graphics card it will disable the on-board devices. You may be able to set one as primary and one as secondary in the BIOS.

(8,308 posts)didn't even consider that.
i'll try that first thing when i get home tonight.
