My computer monitor's background has gone yellow.

I've tried a number of things, including going into settings and graphic properties, but nothing changes. I even bought a new monitor.

1. If the same thing is happening on multiple monitors...

If the same thing is happening on multiple monitors, the problem is most likely with the Video Card.

You /might/ be able to fix it by re-seating it (take it out, then put it back in)

Here are some steps you should follow if you are going to try this (providing you are able to open up your PC case)

First, very important, shut down the computer and unplug it from the power source.

Open up the computer box.

Find the 'card' that the monitor gets plugged into. See if you can take it out and then put it back in (screws may be involved)

You can google "how to replace a video card' and probably find a YouTube instructions, search for your specific model of PC for best results.

...that one who is not paid for his work is an amateur. That characterization is often used to disparage the skill, talent or results delivered by the amateur. As I've seen here in the case of folks on MIRT and the volunteer hosts, they are all good at what they do. I will be volunteering again soon for MIRT and trying to live up to the example of some of the greats of which you are one.
You have a few fans out there so know that what you do is appreciated.

Your voluntary and steadfast attendance at these rehearsals fully qualifies you for any definition of the word "amateur".
