Is Firefox 12 locking up for anybody else?

Windows 7.

The only thing that changed on the computer was I added a USB 3.0 card and its driver.

No other software is acting strangely.

Firefox will go to "not responding". If I click the close "X" box is unlocks.

Also, my bookmarks have stopped working.

Virus scan is clear.

1. Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. That seems to fix most problems like this. n/t

Updated to Flash v 11.3.300.257...

Uninstalled & reinstalled v 11.2.202.235 and all is well

I'd try updating flash, shockwave and JAVA.

It may also be worthwhile to export your favorites, rename your profile and force firefox to create a new one. I can give you doc on how to do this if you need.

check USB 3.0 card and its driver create temp file !! clear them

still using FF 7.xxx because all of my plugins wont work on newer versions,which come very quick this year.

And this is with Firefox 13.01 (and on both Windows XP and WIndows 7)... I even inactivated all my firewalls and security software temporarily, to see if that was the issue. (it wasn't).... The damned thing stalls when I am typing and if I keep going, will totally lock up.
