Driving directions?
On occasions I need to record miles driven. So I would go to google map, or mapquest, or yahoo map, ask for directions and get the distance in miles.
Tried it last night. All told me that "directions found" but that I would need to download an "app." I don't "do" app. I don't use a "smart phone." So I tried to move to different sites and eventually it appeared that it was not exactly an "app." So clicked on the download, and then had to click on a large button marked OK. I was faced with a warning that Firefox did not trust that. So I quickly quit Firefox, went to Safari and got what I wanted.
Oh well..
