He's not running for re-election. He's finishing out his term. He believes - as do I, as do many of us - that this bill will help the majority of the American public.

This bill was already negotiated, compromised, discussed and debated in the house and the senate. Obama is not "holding the military hostage" as Canadian terrorist Ted Cruz is saying,

The President isn't inserting anti-choice language into a CR bill.

This is ALL on the House and on people like Ted Cruz who are more than happy to watch you suffer to try to re-debate a law that passed three years ago.

So screw your "Defund Obamacare," screw your "Delay Obamacare" and you know what? Screw your "Vitter language."

I admit to some giddiness myself as I watch the GOP suicide march. Even if the less radical members do revolt and pull out of the Cruz gang at the last minute, they're still cooked. Burnt to a crisp if we're lucky. My honest sympathies to the people who would indeed be unfairly hurt by even a temporary partial shutdown, but I still love to see the GOP hang itself. Can't help it. I'll be awake late tonight following the news.
