I admire President Obama.

I admire the fact that he at least tried to get Americans health care with the ACA. It's not perfect but it saved me from certain death.

I admire his standing firm in the face of Republican threats to shut down our government.

I admire him for being such a deeply caring family man.

I admire him for his many other economy saving measures, such as the 800 billion$$ stimulus, and the car buy back program that allowed me to trade my crappy 12 mpg pickup for a new Nissan Versa, only owing $5000, civil rights policies that protect LGBT, and many more. A true liberal in every sense of the word

I admire him for staying true to his Christian Faith and not let the right-wing fundamentalists define his spirituality.

I admire him for standing in the face of so much bigotry, venom, and hatred, all the while staying cool and calm as always, seeming to forgive them for their aggressive ignorance.

But perhaps most of all, I admire him for being the first Black President, serving an excellent role model for black children as well all POC,showing that despite our many flaws, that the sky is the limit. This is a great man, folks.

So thank you President Barack Obama, I'm gonna miss ya!

Many of us have shown in the primary that we are voting in part to protect his legacy so yes POTUS...we love and admire you and are still going to defend you in November.

Campaigned for him in redneckville in 2008.

He did well. Can you imagine what would have happened if H won in 2008? I think we'd be in a big war and more broke than we are now.

I would have still voted for Bernie. But I'm more liberal than him.

I still think he is maybe the best president of my lifetime. I don't know for sure at this stage.

Not only is he brilliant and has worked incredibly hard to have accomplished all he has, but his temperament is as near to perfect as we've ever had. Faced with all the viciousness and obstruction that he's had to deal with in the past 8+ years, most of us would have lost it by now.

And I know we can't keep him, but is there any chance we might keep Michelle? She's been a terrific First Lady and I'm not aware of any term limits on that...

Starting off with so many DUers who would prefer to hold their breath and turn blue, trying to get their beloved single payer, when the ACA has already saved tens of thousands of lives.

I'd say President Obama has been beyond amazing. When he came into office trans people were still openly being treated like freaks and except for a few bright spots like California, were openly discriminated against without any recourse. Now, thanks to President Obama - with a little animus-help from the GOP - there is a good chance they and the rest of the LGBT might get some very real protections codified into federal law via the courts. He played the long game on this one, and it is all coming to fruition...
