A slimy shock awaited Manminber Singh when he bit into a Burger King chicken burger and found a slug inside.
The 37-year-old claimed the creature was lurking inside his meal, with his find prompting health officials to review hygiene at the fast food takeaway, in Darlington, Co. Durham.
The slug arrived in a bag of pre-washed salad, said officials.

I mean, vegetables -fresh vegetables, real vegetables- get slugs sometimes. Any gardener knows that.
