Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumSo now, right here on the DU, the TEA PARTY is AWESOME. A model to be emulated
and admired. The OP is bad enough, the comments that follow pull the lid back on just what kind of a freaky mind-bending cult the Sanders campaign has become.
Skinner should have called it.

I highly doubt the "Artisinal Tea Party" is going to have any legislative success outside of Washington and a few other states. If anything, their far left candidates are just going to diminish chances for democrats to take back statehouses across the country, much in the way the Tea Party ruined many Senators in national contests.

(1,788 posts)have they not been around for the last 8 years? Tea Baggers in Congress are the reason we can't have nice things...they are one big reason that Obama had to deal with crap. These people have lost their minds. SMH

It is mere on line rhetoric; posturing for the sake of posturing.
lol
The Tea Party is nothing new.
It is a very old RW faction in American politics. "Tea Party" is a new name for an old faction.

Skinner made a mistake by not "calling it". (And the owners of this site need to take a closer look at what people think is acceptable.)

(249 posts)The underlying point about the movement trying to push the establishment out of leadership is a solid one. They were too angry when they wrote that post. It doesn't justify an overgeneralization about Bernie supporters being crazy like Tea Partiers...that's engaging in the same sort of illogical and emotion-based thinking that this poster is engaging in as well, just from the other side of the coin. Can we at least attempt to rise above it please?

Are you still fuzzy on the concept of what the purpose of the Hillary Clinton forum is or what protected forums are?
We? If you are here because you understand that Hillary Clinton will be the nominee and would like to do your part to make sure she is elected the next POTUS so that we can
1. Save this country from whatever fecalphile the Republicans put up
2. Take the Senate and the House back
3. Have strong Progressive leadership in the WH that can actually get things done, unlike the Lone Ranger
4. Bring the SCOTUS back out of the dark ages.
then WELCOME. However, since you described yourself thusly just this morning, I believe we'll invite you to go ahead and take it somewhere else Sandinista.
