Where does Judicial Watch come into the picture?

I think I've got this right.

The FBI launched an investigation into Hillary's e-mail practices as they related to national security.

The FBI asked the State Department to conduct its own investigation into its e-mail system - not related specifically to Hillary.

Now we have Cheryl Mills giving a deposition that involves lawyers from Judicial Watch. What was this deposition connected to? If to the FBI investigation, what was Judicial Watch doing there?

They are a right-wing hate group that tries to win in the courts what they can't accomplish thru the ballot box or by suppressing the vote.

and federal employees who work with them since Bill was President. When Bill left office he/they helped raise money for the employees to pay off their massive legal fees. It is just harassment by a super dick, Larry Klayman.

Here is link to the schedule of depositions - http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/weekly-updates/hillary-clinton-should-testify-under-oath/

This is why Clinton/federal employees have such high legal fees. They must hire an attorney.

... one of many different right wing nuisance FOIA suits, so I understand. So I guess the question is what was the FBI doing there? But I don't care, really.

I could get really excited if someone thought of a way to protect government employees from attorneys' fees. That's AWFUL!!! That people should be so harmed because they work for Hillary. Just schocking

8. Judicial Watch = Republican litigating group. Just like they're trying to decide who Democrats want

for their nominee for November via kid-glove handling of the weakest "Democratic" candidate and millions of dollars spent on attack-ads on the strongest Democratic candidate, the GOP want to be a part of and steer this investigation in a direction they want in order to make headlines and create a new faux-scandal to harm Hillary Clinton since they've failed to usurp the Lyin'Donald.

negative light, using whatever laws are on the books for them to do so. It's what they, as attorneys, are trained to do.

I don't know how they did it, though. I don't know what laws they used to inject themselves into the investigation, but it appears to be successful otherwise they wouldn't be there. You might need to ask someone more familiar with law.

15. Judicial Watch....

....which is nasty rw tool for trying to make life hell for the Clintons.... is suing in regards to the emails under a FOIA. Cheryl Mills testified at deposition under oath last week (I'm not sure if it was carried over until this week). Mills was not only Clinton's Chief of Staff, but she also served as a private lawyer for Clinton after she left State is my understanding. So needless to say that her deposition had major conflicts bubbling around. The State Department obviously is in on it because of her capacity as an employee at the time at State. Then, she can't necessarily answer some questions because of attorney/client privilege as Clinton's lawyer after her SOS stint.....she cannot also answer some questions that may be classified due to the nature of the job at State.....so the State Department had attorneys present as well.

So you have the Department of State running an audit on itself. The FBI is involved because of the issue of national security. ....and the bottom line on Judicial Watch, is they are involved to stir up as much shit and controversy towards Clinton that they can, any way they can.
