Old JURY FUNCTION has been disabled. (In preparation for the New & Improved Jury System.)

Click the "alert" button on any post, and you'll see that the checkboxes for the alert reason are now gone.

No "SOP" checkbox, no "Disruptive and Over the Top" checkbox ... just a text area to send a note to the admins.

IT'S HAPPENING PEOPLE!! IT'S REALLY HAPPENING!!!

to participate on juries I think it is our responsibility to do so, but it does seem like (without the results feedback we are accustomed to), it will be sort of a "vacuum" process--not even rewarding the basic curiosity of "what happened afterwards"...

I understand why Skinner has chosen to go this route, though. I truly do.

I think curiosity is a very normal human instinct.... so I do wonder about the effect on potential jurors f there is no feedback...

as though I had no idea whether or not my efforts were worth it. Don't get me wrong, I do believe jury duty is important to the functioning of DU and will continue to do so when I can. But it does leave one wondering if their vote even registered or made a difference.
