Hillary "visibly angry": "Republicans put the NRA ahead of American families." (HILLARY SUPPORTERS GRP)

During a campaign event in Florida earlier today, Hillary Clinton sunk her teeth into the National Rifle Association, saying that their concern for guns over human lives was to blame for the Oregon Shooting.

Clinton was reported by TIME as being visibly angry as she promised cheering crowds that she would stand up to the gun lobby and the GOP by instituting new gun laws as president.

“What is wrong with us that we can’t stand up to the NRA and the gun lobby and the gun manufacturers they represent,” Clinton asked. “This is not just tragic. We don’t just need to pray for people, we need to act. We need to build a movement.”

She even went so far as to say Republicans “put the NRA ahead of American families.”

Clinton regularly includes gun control as part of her campaign platform, and today, used much of her speech to express her disgust with America’s latest mass killing. Clinton also called out anti-control activists and their allied politicians for their repeated efforts to squash new measures, saying they need to answer for why they do not heed the calls of the victims’ families.

On not raising taxes and when they finally took a stand Norquist could not control them and taxes was raised. In the case of NRA, the same gun people who voted to protect the Second Amendment on the GOP side is going to vote for Republicans again even if gun control bills are enacted. Who would these Republicans vote for if not Republicans. Over 50% of Americans wants gun control bills passed, it is past time. More Americans are dying from gun violence than terrorists attacks, it is the smart move.
