Ben Carson has the best chance of winning against Hillary!

MSNBC is reporting that latest polls show Carson as the GOP's best bet to run against Hillary Clinton.

Who here would pay $1,000.00 to see Hillary and Ben on the national debate stage as the candidates for their parties?????

I would! I really would. She would destroy him in the first 10 minutes and the election would be over early.

3. Gotta talk while I still can, wont be allowed to much longer

After what happened in KY yesterday and in Houston (the people who VICIOUSLY HATE transgender people won again) we are looking at a very possible teaparty WH, House and Senate

If so, and if you are a Woman, Black, Latino, Jewish, Gay, Asian, Intelligent, Educated, Mature, Laotian, or Martian, you are at risk for losing your life.

12. I am in a state of depression as well

This country is filled with so much hate and the hatred seems to be winning everywhere. It's so deep that I was uninvited from a family Thanksgiving because I "have the devil inside me." A direct quote from an email my aunt sent me about the day they have reserved for people of faith.

13. Wow, assume this has to do with who you hold hands with.

I come to DU as a way to vent my frustration at the insanity, but it is not safe to do that here.

I will be OK without a place to do that, but people who are less mentally stable as myself, who knows.

The polarization between Black and white is the real problem

18. I have to agree with you about one thing, the South seems to be lost to Fundamentalism.

I lived in beautiful Kentucky in my early twenties. It is sad for me to see it go backwards but not surprising. The roots of bigotry, fear and hatred go deep for many people there.
But I think what happened in Huston is just the "it's going to get bad before it get's better" moment. The demographics are changing daily and rapidly and the Huston area is trying very hard to seem like the "sane and inclusive" area of the state. They failed yesterday but I think they get that their future lies with it's better angels. They will, literally, pay the price for yesterday's vote and that should teach them a lesson and change some minds.

21. I doubt Huston will ever be Austin but they seem to be growing...

towards the light as opposed to so many southern states that seem to be embracing the deep, dark, paranoid call of Klan/Christian Fundie base of the republican party.

5. I don't believe that for a minute.

Republicans talk a good game, but if by some miracle he got the nomination, there's no way he would win. The Teabaggers would rather kill themselves than vote for a black man, no matter how closely he hews to their own ideology. Just not going to happen. The number of bigoted white repubs who would hold their nose and vote for Carson would be overwhelmed by the number of 'baggers who would rather stay home on Election Day.

6. I think the real point

of this is that any candidate for the presidency from a major party the likes of Ben Carson points to the absurdity our political arena has become.
I continue to believe that, sooner or later in this rather long nominating process, the voices of reason and sanity within the GOP registered electorate will emerge and the Carson's and Trump's, Cruzs' and Christies, Paul's and Rubio's will fade into the obscurity they deserve.

let's him keep a tenuous grip on reality.

9. MSNBC has lost their mind!.....

When Carson gets into states where there are not many evangelicals, he's cooked. Personally I'd be more concerned (but not much) if Trump won their primary.

He's consistently on top.

Man! It would be nice to see Hillary tear Trump to ribbons with that calm smile of hers! I would love to see Trump's face get so red, it would look like he's rug is about to blow off any moment. Priceless!

10. Hahahahaha! I'll believe it when I see it.

The only Republican I see who can - maybe - give Hillary "an adrenaline rush" in a debate, is Rubio. He's quick on his feet and speaks rapidly. On the other hand, he can't help but lie all the time, and she's good at catching lies and using verbal jiu-jitsu on her opponents, so although he may be quicker than the other Republicans, I'm not all too worried there.

But the GOP gave us an Alzheimer's patient as POTUS with Regan's last term in office so....anything could happen. Thank you Hillary. I know you can save us from Mr. Flat Affect!

25. But even the straighest news people are laughing about the things he says...

it's their job to pretend to take all of these idiots seriously. They were joking about Trump and that's unusual, but Carson's Whacky Doodle statement have normally "non-partisan" reporters calling him weird and bizarre and alluding to mental illness.

I would love to see the press try to remain neutral through an election with one of them involved.
