HRC GROUP - WOWT Omaha - Clinton Leads Sanders In Poll Of Likely Iowa Caucus Participants

With the help of an almost 2-1 advantage among women, Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders 51 - 40 percent among Iowa likely Democratic Caucus participants, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday.

Martin O’Malley has six percent with three percent undecided. This compares to the results of a November 25th survey by Quinnipiac showing Clinton over Sanders 51 - 42 percent.

meaning many of those that have committed to caucus. Hillary's teams has been amassing an impressive amount of signed confirmation cards for participants, from all over the state.

... is it binding? Or is it just an informal way to get a caucus goer to pledge their commitment, and to reaffirm their intent with their signature?

Are the confirmation cards typically used by all candidates? Or is this something that Hillary's campaign is using?

door to door and ask the person to come to the causus. They sign a card to come. Minds can change The volunteer does a follow up phone call--once or twice to remind the person of the date. I do not know the percentage of folks who sign and do not come or do come.

Anyway--the psycology of it is that once people commit--say will do something--they are more likely to follow through. It is not a pledge--just commit to the caucus.
