So MADem has had two post hidden in the last 20 minutes, I've reviewed them as a long time DU member and have come to the realization that this is absolutely out of control! There were NO violations of TOS in MADem's post!

Craziness! Many of Bernie's DU supporters are behaving anything but democratic!

Sanders most fervent supporters here on DU are working against themselves. Their intolerance is blinding them from the fact that since DU inception, there have been 230K registered users. The vast majority of those are unlikely active and the remainder are not all Sanders supporters.

Point being, DU is not representative of the democratic party as a whole. If you want to appeal to a wider electorate, best not to act as if your path is the only path. What a shame this is becoming!

Lately, I've only come to DU to watch the crazy train roll by. I'm just about done, and I've been coming here a very long time.

18. I have started to post on DU after a 1 1/2 year self-imposed hiatus.

Over a year and a half ago, I was ganged up on by the same intolerant members. I had three posts hidden in one day and was suspended for three months. I didn't post profanity or threats. My sin was merely posting an opinion that others did not agree with. The jury system on DU is seriously flawed. It allows for crowd bullying. I walked away from this site a year and a half ago wondering why the word "Democratic" appears in this site's name. Now that I'm back, I carefully choose every single word I post through an attorney's eye. I find this to be a very sad situation.

There was no way to make it stop -- it was cyber-bullying, there is no other word for it in the context. It's beyond disgusting. The words needed to describe the situation (like trollery and troll) are words that can get a person an enforced vacation. Gods forbid we tell the truth. Gods forbid we have an opinion not sanctioned by the mob that has overtaken DU. Gods forbid we have even one corner to call our own in a Board where many of us have been for well over a decade.

Given Bernie's withering chances of being the nominee, the Bernistas seem to believe that if they can silence HRC supporters on DU, they are accomplishing something that will somehow reverse that reality.

Or, more likely, they feel that if their candidate is going down, they'll take DU down with him.
