I am very curious (Hillary Clinton Group)

When Sanders finally drops out of the primary race, does any leftover money that may remain from fundraising for his campaign as a Democrat transfer to the Democratic campaign fund. Will it be used to help elect Clinton president?

It would be very ironic if all the Sanders supporters donating to him end up donating to Clinton. Especially those who say they wont vote for her or support her in the general.

I really do want to know. What is the process with leftover money?

Where Do Left Over Campaign Funds Go After the Elections?
Politicians are not required to shut down their campaign committees after their campaigns are over. When federal office candidates end up with surplus money, it cannot go toward personal expenses. Instead, the Federal Election Commission reports, candidates may donate that money to charities and political parties, and make contributions directly to other political candidates, at a maximum of $2,000 per candidate per election. Politicians, who often use excess funds to pay campaign debts, may also save extra campaign cash for future political campaigns. Retiring federal lawmakers were allowed to pocket extra campaign cash and spend it on a variety of personal expenses – such as vacations, houses and cars – until the passage of the Ethics Reform Act in 1989.

I do not believe he has any intention on giving money to the "ESTABLISHMENT." He was proud of NOT being a Democrat all his life and once said he would NEVER run as a Dem. He has KIDS attempting to run in Senate seats nationwide. IMHO that is where the money will go. Definitely not the DNC.

it was his and his campaigns hard work that raised it. But when he throws his support behind Clinton, that may change.

I only see how his supporter behave. I only hope he backs Hillary. I guess we will know eventually.

Nothing says he has to, and he might line up behind Jill Stein.

Democrat malcontents who may form a third party. Gabbard is putting herself in position to be on a national ticket.

Count on a "progressive" challenge to Hillary no matter how much success she has in her first four years.

I just wish they would have run on a 3rd party ticket or as Independent rather than use the establishment they abhor so much.
