(1,384 posts)Where are our strongholds? Big cities always report last so if we can keep it close in the rural parts we might just pull this off.

(1,512 posts)Which includes Boston and some of the North Shore, and will do well in general out east. Bernie will do better in the rural areas (I am from western MA originally).

(1,512 posts)Just checked the site again, the Mass Live map has city and town boundaries shown. My hometown (Pittsfield) is showing blue for Hillary at the moment.

"If you listen to furious Bernie Sanders die-hards, Bill Clinton, former POTUS, is running around America waging a one-man war on our democracy. Mr. Clinton was out on the trail for his wife on Super Tuesday and caused an mini-uproar when he strayed too close to a polling station."

(15,368 posts)but Hillary has been in the lead for the longest time. Right now she's up by 5%.
Whatever happens, MA will not be a blowout for either candidate.

(15,368 posts)if for nothing other than its symbolism. Now will MA also not count, do you think?
About OK, there was mention of a huge influx of first-time voters which likely was a factor in the polls getting it wrong because Clinton was definitely favored among those who were LT Dems. From my calling there, I also know that even those Dems who favored Bernie stated that they would support Hillary in the GE.
Those first-time voters though - how many were really Dems trying to help Bernie as opposed to those registering merely to defeat Hillary - is something that we likely won't know until the GE.
As far as MN & CO, caucuses are always difficult to predict. I hoped for a better Hillary outcome in both, but it was not to be. I believe that both will definitely be in the Dem column for the GE though. Bernie deserves kudos for his wins tonight.
A great link for an overview of last night (excluding American Samoa which isn't reflected there) is the NYT coverage. http://www.nytimes.com/elections/results
IMO, that NYT coverage was better than anything on TV. Best of all, one didn't have to watch/hear Drumpf preening and posturing like the bully that he so clearly is. What a total a**h*** he is!

(15,951 posts)Like Des Moines delivered Iowa to Hillary it is possible that Boston will deliver MA to HRC, there are only 88 out of 255 precincts reporting and HRC is up by 12.
