Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumThe Magic Number is +365.
That is how many delegates Hillary needs from tonight's five states to be on track for the nomination. Bernie's magic number is 326.
Forget states. States don't matter. Hillary will win Florida and North Carolina, I'm guessing that Bernie will win Missouri, and I'm almost positive that the results in Ohio and Illinois will be within a couple points either way. (If you look at the post-Michigan polls for each state, remove the highest and lowest, and average the remainder, they both have Clinton +2.) It will be interesting to see who wins those states, but what really matters is delegates.
Ohio and North Carolina polls close at 7:30 EDT, the remaining states at 8:00 EDT. I read somewhere that in one of the states, individual precincts have authority to keep their polls open up to an hour later, I don't remember which one. But all the polls should be closed by 9:00 EDT.
Just keep that number in mind. 365.

(3,473 posts)How can Bernie's be less than Hillary's? And since there are 793 delegates up for grabs today, both could hit those numbers with 100+ delegates to spare.

(16,104 posts)I predict Hillary 402-289 for final tally. Worst case scenario! Ends the day at least 300 plus over Bernie!
"Kos rules" tomorrow!
As Rod Stewart used to sing, "Tonight's the night!"
