SLC Mayor launches campaign for Hillary Clinton
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - Hillary Clinton is the the only major candidate with no appearance planned in Utah before the Tuesday primary. Her daughter Chelsea was here earlier this week.
Today, at Hillary’s Salt Lake headquarters, Mayor Jackie Biskupski launched a door to door canvassing effort. Sending out folks to talk up the former secretary of state.
Mayor Biskupski told us, "We have a very good candidate in this race, the Democrats do. I am a supporter of Hillary because I think she’s the most qualified and the most capable of making sure our country builds upon the successes of Obama."
Other Utah democrats backing Hillary Clinton include former first lady Norma Matheson, former Salt Lake Mayor Ted Wilson and current Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams.
