All-out warfare is about to break out between Bernie Sanders’ supporters and the political press

Last edited Thu Mar 24, 2016, 06:29 PM - Edit history (1)

Here’s why: We have five states coming up in which Bernie Sanders will probably do very, very well. It’s not inconceivable that he could sweep them all. But even a sweep won’t change the structure of the race in any way. Three of the five (Hawaii, Wyoming and Alaska) are states with relatively few delegates. The Democratic contests are all proportional, so Hillary Clinton will get a share of delegates even if she gets shut out.

Political reporters know that all five of these contests, combined, will account for fewer delegates (286) than will New York alone on April 19 (291). Clinton is up by 48 points in the latest poll of New York, and by 33 points in 538’s weighted polling average. Things may change, but it’s looking like a blowout at this point.

Numbers don't lie. You may not like what they say, but they don't lie.

the nomination. First, he would have to win the next 10 states and that would give him momentum to win a bunch more! That's just sad.

Drama keeps viewers watching the screen.
As with Trump, claiming it is a real race between Clinton and Sanders is about money.

they have to create a pathway for Sanders now that their polling has him ahead by one. John Heilman has been saying ever since the 15th blowout that it would take a catastrophe for Sanders to win this. Notice how they didn't mention that all of the 19th+ primaries are closed to outsiders.

Why? Raising taxes, trillions of dollars for free college, Socialist, Communist party admirer, Socialist. They said he was never vetted like Hillary and he never will be because he is going to lose the nomination anyway!

They said the polls showing him ahead of the GOP are useless. Uh oh MSNBC!

He pushed them on explaining exactly how it is that Sanders is unelectable. O'Donnell has no concept that extreme left-wing liberalism isn't embraced by people when there's no concrete detailed plans of obtaining its ends. Especially when the leader of the pack can't articulate a plan that a majority -- regardless of party -- will get behind.

https://www.rawstory.com/2016/03/all-out-warfare-is-about-to-break-out-between-bernie-sanders-supporters-and-the-political-press/

So we have 286 delegates that will be awarded in prime Sanders territory between this Saturday and April 9, followed by a 10-day pause, and then 753 more delegates will be awarded in a two-week period in what’s looking, at this point, like solid Clinton country.

This article is funny! Yeah they got it!

Apparently the complete media blackout is keepin' Sanders down and from dominating every state.

Right. As if I've been able to turn around anywhere without hearing about him.

Another portion insists he'll win without discussing any potential mathematics, or acknowledging that he's going to lose PA, NY, NJ, MD, DE, and possibly even RI.

And trying to tip more delegates to Sanders. He still has a steep hill to climb. I am thinking there will be some changes before 2020. Since the caucuses are difficult for seniors and disabled and they are unable to participate.

My God. Read the comments. Disgusting.

They refer to Hillary as a "whore", accuse her of prostituting out Chelsea, call her Hitler... This isn't just on DU folks. The nastiness is across the Net. I don't think they realize what they're doing, but they're deepening the division. Reminds me of a buddy of mine who divorced his wife. She thought she could continue acting insanely, hurling insults, threatening divorce, threatening to leave with his children... He finally had enough after years of warning her and telling her she was poisoning the well. She didn't listen and to this day says she thought his patience would last forever because he'd put up with her behavior for almost a decade. How long do rude Sanders people think they can keep doing this before they get a revolution that they just may not have intended?
