Bernie spouts off about the “Panama Papers”, but still hasn't released his own Tax Returns!!!

I'm not inferring that Bernie is involved with tax evasion. But how does he have the nerve to talk about hidden tax issues when he is hiding his taxes?????

The Daily News in NYC will have a field day with this leading up to the NY primary.

None of the back years - and nothing for 2015. But none of the candidates at the link released their 2015 yet that I can see.

Looks like Sanders is in the top 6% and received $4172 back from the IRS in 2015.

It is unsurprising that no one has released 2015-related information yet. So I won'f slam anyone for that.

I can, however, be very unhappy about his general lack of transparency AND extremely unhappy about Bernie's lying about having released tax forms publicly when he has not.

I sent mine in about a week ago.

His "return" for 2014 is 2 pages, and 2 pages for Vermont.

Clinton's is 44 pages!

Bernie, where are the schedules? What's hidden in that $56,000 deduction number?

thanks to our tax dollars. We already know he is incapable of earning any money in the private sector. But what are his investments like. Is he earning interests from Fossil Fuel companies. Does he have investments through Wall Street banks?

And why can't he release his taxes for the past decade? What is he afraid of??? And doesn't this disqualify him from even discussing a tax scandal? Maybe he should come clean before he calls anyone else dirty!

Doubtful about your statement about the NY Daily News. It's pretty evident that they don't like Hillary and why would they even hound Bernie about taxes before the IRS filing date for 2015 taxes has even passed?

Gimme a break!

PS: This (native) New Yorker predicts your candidate loses New York State to an embarrassing degree.

29. What about the fact that Bernie SAID

he had released previous tax returns when he had NOT?

I'm not one of those excited about the 2015 taxes. As you point out, the filing date is still in the future. But as someone who has a genuinely long list of deductions that STILL don't total anywhere near the $56,000+ that Bernie claims, I'd like to know more about what those deductions are. I'll allow that they are likely legitimate but why not tell us? Especially when he holds others to a standard that he is apparently NOT willing to meet.

I'm not a native New Yorker. But I believe that your prediction is overly optimistic for your candidate, especially now that there is a debate scheduled.

Hillary has so far demonstrated superb command of the issues in every one of these debates and I expect her to do more of the same. Bernie is very fuzzy on practical details for implementing his ideas. That is becoming clearer to more undecideds as the time goes on.

And New York runs a closed primary.
