Australian tourists linked to Peruvian death

Lino Rodriguez Vilchez died after falling 15 storeys from a hotel room in Miraflores, a popular tourist district in Peru's capital Lima, in January.

Peruvian media initially reported the death as a suicide, but his family says he was murdered, and has implicated six Australians in his death.

Mr Rodriguez Vilchez' brother Wilber Rodriguez Vilchez has denied media claims that police have ruled the 45-year-old's death was a suicide.

He says his brother, who worked as a porter, died after he went to a room to tell a rowdy group of Australians staying there to quieten down.
