The plot thickens in the Nisman case: car leads to more Intelligence questions

Buenos Aires Herald
Published Saturday January 25, 2015.

The late AMIA special prosecutor Alberto Nisman drove an Audi that belonged to the company Palermopack SA, whose owner is the son-in-law of Hugo Anzorreguy. Anzorreguy led the Intelligence Secretariat (SI, formerly known as SIDE) during Carlos Menem’s tenure, and was being investigated by Nisman for having covered up the 1994 AMIA terrorist attack that killed 85 people.

Palermopack, the company that owned the car used by the late prosecutor, is run by Fabián Aníbal Picon, Anzorreguy’s son-in-law, according to information confirmed by former Airport Security Police (PSA) chief Marcelo Sain. Picon is allegedly linked to Eugenio “Pipo” Ecke, who reportedly worked for former CIA agent Frank Holder.

Relatives of the victims of the AMIA bombing were tapped. Former Metropolitan Police head Jorge “Fino” Palacios, who also took part in the inquiry into the AMIA attack, was accused of recording phone conversations of opposition politicians (those opposed to the current right-wing mayor, Mauricio Macri). Nisman also accused Palacios of being involved in a plot to cover up the attack.

No photo found for Eugenio "Pipo" Ecke.

Your article:

Ecke was the security chief of the Exxel group, which was in charge of the companies that belonged to late tycoon Alfredo Yabrán, who committed suicide in 1998. Ecke was investigated in the case for the illegal phone tapping records in which Buenos Aires City mayor Mauricio Macri was involved. The case is now in the hands of Federal Judge Sebastián Casanello, who said he lacked evidence to indict the presidential hopeful but refused to drop charges. Relatives of the victims of the AMIA bombing were tapped. Former Metropolitan Police head Jorge “Fino” Palacios, who also took part in the inquiry into the AMIA attack, was accused of recording phone conversations of opposition politicians. The car AUDI brand patent MPC641 in which the fiscal deceased Alberto Nisman mobilized, and still remains in the building's parking Le Parc, generated suspicions as it is owned by Palermopack SA, packaging company owned by partner Eugenio Eduardo Ecke, linked to causes like eavesdropping macrismo, the murder of José Luis Cabezas, and is also designated as a local operator of a former CIA agent.

Did find this small article, google Spanish translation:

The strange link between Nisman, the CIA and the murder of Cabezas

Telam confirmed, based on official records, that indeed the high-end vehicle belongs to a company owned by Fabian Hannibal and Claudio Alejandro Picon, and whose business office is located in Paraná 244. The Picon brothers are partners of Eugenio Eduardo Ecke in two other companies, called Starpack and Easypack, according also to records. Ecke, however, is linked to Frank Holder, a former CIA agent who currently has a private security company -that means an agency of detectives called Kroll, and operates in the United States and Latin America. Ecke is designated as the local operator Holder and Head of Security Company Exxel Group, who stayed with the signatures of Alfredo Yabrán after his death. In fact, it was linked in 1997 with the murder of José Luis Cabezas in 1997. Through the security company of which he is chief executive, named Segar, is suspected of linking with Ciro James, indicted for the cause of illegal wiretapping during macrista management, prodded causally phones Sergio Burstein, Association of Relatives and Friends of Victims of the AMIA. The link between the CIA, the AMIA case, eavesdropping macrismo, the Cabezas case are suspect, more if the protagonist, Eugenio Eduardo Ecke, also owns a company that makes bows as Starpack. Resta track of Picon, with whom unsuccessfully tried to communicate Telam.

The late Mr. Nisman consorted with a very sordid cast of characters indeed - something which probably doesn't surprise AMIA victims' rights groups, which had been calling for his replacement for years now.

The only correction I would make is that of the photo for Fabián Aníbal Picon, which is actually a photo of Presidential Chief of Staff Aníbal Fernández. Somebody whose photo, in my view, definitely should be up there among the other suspects is the disgraced former Counterintelligence chief Antonio "Jaime" Stiusso, who conducted the cherry-picked wiretaps Nisman used to build his (highly circumstancial) case against Mrs. Kirchner and who reportedly advised Nisman to dismiss his 10-man security detail shortly before the murder.

In the meantime, found this strange information on Stiusso. There seems to be a lot around about him, but I haven't found anything big which I could understand through "google translate!"

was the "strong man" intelligence

Parrilli SIDE did give up the controversial Jaime Stiusso

[font size=1]Stiusso is linked to crimes of drug
trafficking and human trafficking.

In its first decision as the new Secretary of Intelligence, Oscar Parrilli asked the resignation to chief operating officer of the central spy, Antonio Jaime Stiusso. The agent, who for years is identified as the "strong man" of the secretariat, accepted the order and resigned. Near Parrilli explained the decision logic is to be installed in leading the secretariat people you trust. Thus, the renewal of the dome of the Intelligence Secretariat will be complete. First, President Cristina Kirchner on Tuesday placed Parrilli and until then head of Cabinet, Ministry of Justice, Juan Martín Mena, as one two body instead of Héctor Francisco Larcher Icazuriaga and two "penguins" who occupied these charges from the times of Nestor Kirchner.

The big unknown until yesterday was whether the renewal at the headquarters of the street May 25 reach the number three in the nomenclature and who has long is mentioned as the operating spymaster, Antonio Stiles, better known by his alias Jaime Stiuso. Legend generated around Stiusso is that, thanks to its more than four decades in the agency, has proprietary information about all men and women of power, which supposedly made him untouchable. Even when assumed Néstor Kirchner left him on his desk at the Casa Rosada folders intelligence with all the information that was on him and Cristina Kirchner, reveals Página 12 . He is remembered the episode in which the then Minister of Justice Gustavo Beliz appeared on television showing a picture of Stiusso and accusing him of mount a parallel ministry, including giving instructions to federal judges. "It is who handles the real power in the secretariat," said Beliz. The minister had to resign and, moreover, he began a cause that ended in court for showing a picture of a intelligence agent. On the other hand, Stiusso was among the main drivers of the agreements with the CIA and the Mo-SSAD, which They led to the investigation of the AMIA case that determined the responsibility of Hezbollah and Iran. The evidence of this cause are almost exclusively based on reports from the services of the United States and Iran. This work of the SI was challenged when Cristina Kirchner urged the MoU with Iran, which caused a short circuit between the secretariat and the Pink. Anyway, the long history of Stiusso in central intelligence came to an end yesterday. Parrilli resolved as a first step in office call for his resignation to have a free hand to build a new driving confidence. Until last night replacement name known.
