Venezuela: Second Bodyguard of Government Legislator Murdered

The bodyguard of legislator Blanca Eekhout was murdered on Friday, after legislator Freddy Bernal’s bodyguard was murdered Thursday.
The bodyguard was bringing his wife to work on a motorbike on Friday when four people allegedly attempted to rob them, killed him for resisting.
Carlos Pulgar, 29, father of three, was the bodyguard of Blanca Eekhout, the country's National Assembly vice-president and governing socialist party (PSUV) leader.
The assault took place outside a La Guaira tunnel, heading into the capital Caracas. Pulgar he was killed instantly, shot twice in the head and chest before being stripped of his belongings.
