Venezuelan poor leave corpse on Chavista mayors doorstep, can't afford burial expenses

Abandoned corpse in Mayor of Turén for lack of resources for burial
They denounce that relatives asked the mayor for help for burial expenses and received no response

On Friday, citizens left the corpse of a relative in the vicinity of the Mayor of Turén, Portuguesa state, because they do not have the resources to bury him.

The information was provided by Carlos Iván Suárez, journalist of the entity, who published images about the event.

According to Tv Venezuela, the family members asked the mayor for help with burial expenses, but they did not receive a response, so they decided to leave the body in front of the mayor's facilities.

"Citizens left corpses of relatives in front of the city hall of Turén, Portuguesa, because they do not have money to bury them and the mayor did not offer them the requested help," the newspaper said.
