Related: About this forumNearly 3/4 of Venezuelans want to dump Maduro (Datincorp poll)
Datincorp: 73% of Venezuelans reject Maduro, ChavismoIf the presidential election were in April, 34% of those polled by Datincorp would vote for the opposition candidate Henri Falcón . The founder of Avanzada Progresista surpasses the official Nicolás Maduro , who aspires to reelection, by 12 percentage points. The evangelical expator Javier Bertucci figures with 9% of the support.
The difference is 8 points if only the opinion of the voters who say they are "totally determined" to vote is considered.
In a polarized scenario in which only the two politicians compete, Falcón would get 42% and Maduro 22% of the votes, which would give an advantage to the former governor of Lara of 20 percentage points.
-snip-
73% said that to get out of the crisis a change of government is required and only 21% believe that Maduro should be given an opportunity.
The dollarization of the economy is well approved by 63% of those consulted, of whom 77% say they are opponents and 66% are ni-ni.
To the question of "If I had the opportunity to leave Venezuela, would I?", 57% answered yes and 39% said no.

20% of the voting population of Venezuela are have thoroughly drank the Chavista Kool Aid. They honestly believe that there wouldn't be ANY food to eat at all if it weren't for Chavista's delivering their CLAP box to their door once a month. (Actually, the food boxes have only shown up once since the first of the year, despite their having their Chavista Loyalty Cards)

I should ask you the same question? Are you another Marxist/Leninist who thinks that democracy is old fashioned?
The question SHOULD be asked is why the forum "usual suspects" aren't outraged by what is going on in Venezuela?
Why aren't YOU outraged by what is going on in Venezuela?

(9,478 posts)I looked at your posts, and they are all pretty much anti-Maduro and anti-Latin American left in general.
I know an influence campaign when I see it. And I am not going to let fascists trick us into another war or recognizing another fascist regime. I looked at the first 10 pages of your posing history from the last post and I have yet to see a post from you about Trump and the dangers to OUR DEMOCRACY he poses.
So tell me why you are on this site?

Not that any opposition party in Venezuela is close to being fascist, let alone "right wing". The top 15 parties belonging to MUD (opposition to Chavismo) are exceedingly center-left, if not leftist. Three of the top 4 parties belong to the Socialist International. (The other describes itself as Progressive/Humanism)
