Maduro offers USD 1,200 million to productive regions, but in Petros

Caracas.- President Nicolás Maduro announced the creation of the Fund for the Development of Productive Regions for the launch of the National Development Plan "Venezuela Potencia Productiva", held this Monday at the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas.

This Fund will have 20 million Petros starting capital, equivalent to 1.2 billion dollars, Maduro reported. "It is a revolving fund, it is going to invest and recover," he explained.


Maduro applauds himself and his Petro investment adviser "Harvey", who is as mythical as the Petro.

He instructed the vice president for the economic area, Tareck El Aissami, to receive the new proposals from each of the regions for their prompt approval, since this plan aims to continue recovering companies and boosting them.

In joint transmission of radio and television, Maduro invited to take as a model for companies the document of proposals approved by the "Constituent Congress of Workers and Workers". All regions of the country should focus their efforts on the three fundamental motors of the Grand Sovereign Supply Mission, "which is where the basis of economic freedom and independence is," said Maduro.
