Venezuela crisis: Mothers giving away babies, children living on streets

https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-latin-america-45879534/venezuela-crisis-mothers-giving-away-babies-children-living-on-streets

Oil-rich Venezuela is facing one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, according to the United Nations.

Extreme poverty has jumped 40%, deaths related to child malnutrition are on the rise, and millions have fled the country in the past two years.

Many inside and outside Venezuela blame the policies of socialist President Nicolas Maduro. But his supporters point to the opposition, and also "imperialist forces" outside the country - including the US, which has imposed sanctions.

Mothers and children have been among those hit hardest, as the BBC's Vladimir Hernandez found when he spent time in the capital, Caracas.

There is no "humanitarian crisis" in Venezuela, say the Marxist Elitists. If there is a deficiency of anything, it is a dearth of willpower, according to the smirking gargoyle called Delcy Rodriquez.

Venezuelans have gotten "soft" and as such, have forgotten how to sacrifice. But fear not, as Delcy and her minions have decided the best way to bring back the lost glory of La Patria is for people to get back to their roots of self sufficiency... or starchy root vegetables that are mostly plentiful in the wild, if one knows were to look. Water that isn't fit for drinking can be boiled over open fires (sorry... no more LP bombas). Or, better yet, Venezuelans can "get back to the basics" by drinking unsterilized water that will most certainly toughen them up, if the filthy fluid doesn't kill them first.

No sir... those pictures of children digging through garbage on city streets is nothing more than CIA paid operatives posing for pictures taken by Colombian mafias who are doing their best to make the prosperous Venezuelans looks destitute.

And the "opposition" in Venezuela hasn't had in iota of power in Venezuela in over 18 years. This despite the fact that the AN elections of 2015 the opposition won a super-majority, only to have the Chavista packed TSJ (Supreme Court) nullify all of their laws. How they are to blame is one of the greatest of mysteries. And the EU, Canada and US have only sanctioned the Chavista hierarchy and forbidden US entities from refinancing Venezuelan oil debt (aka Hunger Bonds, courtesy of Goldman Sachs)

No sir... the disaster that is Venezuela is all the doing of Hugo Chavez and his followers.
