Cargo ship disappeared in the Caribbean, search under way

General cargo ship CARMEN 1 with 10 crew on board is missing in the Caribbean off Colombian coast since Jan 21, maritime authorities and all ships in the area have being alerted on Jan 23. The ship was en route from Colon Panama to La Guajira, Colombia. Colombian Navy and Air Force are deployed in ships search, but nothing has been found so far.

I know absolutely nothing about "knots" but I was alarmed when I saw the speed of the ship in the illustration, after googling to see the equivalent in MPH, finding this:
