For more than five decades, Latin and South America have been crucibles of struggle. Military dictatorships in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay sparked mass movements for social reform, in turn crushed by state violence. Urban Impulses charts these seismic changes through the work of 70 photographers, at the Photographers’ Gallery, London, 14 June-6 October
