Third in polls Asks Candidates to Unite against Bolsonaro's Coup Attempt
Ciro Gomes calls for parties to publicly denounce possible anti-democratic plans

In a live on his channel this Tuesday night (10), Ciro Gomes (PDT) said that he sees clear indications that there is an anti-democratic coup being prepared by Jair Bolsonaro (PL). He demanded that his allies and all candidates of different parties unite to denounce it. "There are clear indications that a coup against democracy is underway, whose target is the next elections. Either society and political leaders take action now, or we will reach a point of no return," said Gomes, a pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic.
According to Ciro, these are "very sophisticated" maneuvers that involve "information warfare, counter-information, manipulation, and espionage."
"It is necessary that all candidates, from all parties, immediately sit at the table to denounce this to Brazil and the world publicly. I make this call and hope to be heard by all the other candidates," he said.
