Enough already with interminable bull shit talk!

People who work and sweat for their daily bread just want to know is there anybody out there who can lead us into an economic recovery?

Here's a link to get you familiar with some who have worked to end the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.

And here's a link to give you some background on Hanauer:

NO BS talk, he's promoting higher taxes for the wealthy and calling it like it is, that the health of the middle class translates into the health of the economy. The middle class is the driving force of a healthy economy.

Where are all the jobs that would make these cuts make sense?

Without demand for additional goods and services, the business does not add additional staff.

I had a restaurant in Tampa, mainly carry out and delivery. This was in 2008.

When the economy started crashing, a lot of my customers started losing their jobs, and the 20-30 dollars a week they had to send out for dinner was gone. Not to mention gas jumped to $4.00 a gallon, and that started hitting them harder. They had less money to spend on product. The main thing that kept us afloat during that period were corporate runs for lunch at Capital One (who moved their call center to India), Chase and Wellcare.

To top it off, food prices soared.

After a year of not taking home one paycheck, I sold out to my partner. He sold out 6 months later.

I would have loved to hire a couple of more people. They came in looking for applications every day. But, without the demand, we had no need for more employees.
