Pabst Blue Ribbon may be no more as battle brews in Milwaukee courtroom
The cheap American lager argues that MillerCoors is forcing PBR out of business by breaking a decades-long contract

A dystopian future is brewing in a Milwaukee courtroom. A future which could subject hundreds of thousands of bearded, tattooed, sort-of-cool (sort-of-not) people to a perishing thirst. Pabst Blue Ribbon may be no more.
The American lager, known for its popularity among hipsters, cheap price and some critics might say insipid taste, is locked in a legal battle with manufacturers of rival beer manufacturer MillerCoors, which may leave Pabst without a place to ferment its signature brew.
Pabst Brewing Company, the owner of PBR argues that MillerCoors is attempting to force it out of business by breaking a decades-long contract whereby MillerCoors produces Pabsts ale.
MillerCoors disagrees. The company says it is not obliged to carry on producing PBR, and claims it gave Pabst plenty of notice to make other brewing arrangements.

My buddy brought me a Pabst APA a few weeks ago. It wasnt bad, but it certainly wasnt good. Like a photocopy of a decent beer, but the paper jammed on the way through.

technology, you subject yourself to this risk. To give it up and then source it from a rival is even more risky.

First ICE HOUSE, now PBR where can a guy get a cheap beer??? I have not had a bush for 40 years, in California use very BAD water to brew the brew. Maybe I will have to start drinking another cheap brand.......lucky larger, buckhorn, etc.?????
