Yet my scores on those fucking tests were slightly better than mediocre.

It probably cost me admission to the Ivy League.

Like all statistical tools, however, they don't predict an individual's success.

They work best in conjunction with high school GPAs, where they serve as a balance to grade inflation and outright falsification. Don't know how the revised tests will work.


I don't think SAT and ACT scores should be used to evaluate high schoolers in general, which is where I think they're heading.
