Needless to say, no one argued with the premise of the OP. What could they say?

Anyway, let the clobbering commence:

would have led w media and MAYBE mentioned Dept. Ed. Media much more culpable, but as 'Education' my main dispute with this Administration, I won't disagree.

I'm afraid that, as education is such a HUGE and diffuse issue, we'll NEVER resolve it.
