Ecosia is an alternative to Google and Bing and socially conscious. Excess monthly revenues are used to fund tree planting organizations around the world. In January, for instance, out of 735,000 Euros in revenue, 421,000 Euros went into direct tree planting with a further 103,000 Euros going into reserve for larger projects. This is one of the stories from Ethiopia.
